Accommodation

Living Room

As you enter the property through the front door, you will find a spacious living room with a tiled floor. To your right, a large corner sofa separates the living area from the dining area, creating a soft, relaxing space to enjoy watching TV or listening to music. You may wish to just enjoy the company of family and friends and get cosy in front of the wall-mounted wood-burning stove.

You will find an eclectic mix of wooden furniture, together with wall lights, ceramic pots, wooden hearts and the pitch-fork curtain rail, that brings an Arts and Crafts inspired quirkiness to the cottage.

The open plan layout of the cottage creates light and space whilst retaining designated living, dining and kitchen areas. The living area has a large, comfortable corner sofa, with TV, coffee table and wall-mounted wood burner. The dining area is furnished with a dining-room table and 6 chairs and a pine dresser that provides shelves and storage spaces.

Kitchen

A fully equipped kitchen provides all you could need during your stay, with a Range electric oven and gas hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge freezer and washer/dryer.

Bedroom 1

The bedroom benefits from a super-king bed that can be split into 2 singles on request (space will be restricted). There is also a pine desk with drawers, 2 bedside cabinets and hanging space on the wall. Wood panelling has been painted a soft green colour, creating a relaxing and soothing atmosphere. William Morris design fabrics used to dress the windows and the bed are another nod to the historic connection the cottage has with the Arts and Crafts Movement.

Bedroom 2

The metal frame double-bed contributes to a traditional feel in the room. The high foot-end may restrict access around the bottom of the bed for some guests.

Shower Room

The shower room is modern with underfloor heating and a large walk-in shower with both a fixed shower head suspended from the ceiling and a wall-mounted shower handset. Dual vanity bowls have been set on a reclaimed wooden unit, providing a unique washing area in keeping with other Arts and Crafts inspired touches throughout the cottage.

Access to the Number Six cottage is through the front door situated on Sheep Streep. There is a small courtyard at the rear of the property with outdoor seating for 6, which can be accessed through the backdoor, in the kitchen.

When entering the cottage for the first time, you will need to access the property through the back door. However, during your stay, we would encourage you to use the front door on Sheep Street. This is to avoid disturbing any other guests or neighbours.

Off-road parking is available for 1 vehicle, next to Crafty Cottage next door and is marked by a Number Six plaque fixed to the wooden fence. Further parking is available, both on Sheep Street and on the High Street, which is just a 2-minute walk away. All parking spaces, with the exception of the Market Square, are free of charge and have no time limits.
