Number Five, Chipping Campden, Cotswolds
Number Five, Sheep Street, was originally built in 1901 and completely refurbished in 2017.
The cottage is spacious with tiled floor and provides a lounge with comfortable seating and a dining area with dining room table and chairs.
Number Five is packed with character and is delightfully furnished with bespoke up-cycled pieces and lighting which have been inspired by the world-famous Arts and Crafts movement, synonymous with the area.
The cottage also benefits from a rear courtyard with outdoor seating for two and is planted with box hedge and seasonal flowers.
There is no allocated parking, but due to its location, just off the High Street and a 2 minute walk away from cafes, restaurants and shops, plenty of parking is available on Sheep Street itself, or on the nearby High Street. All parking spaces, except for the Market Square, are free of charge and have no time limits, unless otherwise stated.

Living Room
The front door opens into a lobby area which is ideal for coats, shoes and walking boots. Through the second door you will find the spacious living room with tiled floor, exposed beam and ornamental fire place with Cotswold stone surround. Here you’ll find an eclectic mix of wooden furniture, together with a comfortable sofa, high wing backed wicker chair and Smart TV, which all comes together to create a cosy seating area in front of the wooden slated window. Wall lights, ceramic pots, wooden hearts and the pitch-fork curtain rail, brings an Arts and Crafts inspired quirkiness to the cottage.
The open plan layout of the cottage creates light and space and allows you to move effortlessly between living, dining and kitchen areas. The dining area is furnished with a dining-room table and chairs and is defined by a rustic wooden-clad feature wall, incorporating shelves and storage spaces.
Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen with wooden worktops and green tiled splash-back, includes a built-in electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. A large window above the worktop and sink overlooks the courtyard and outdoor seating area that you can access through the back door.
WC with sink
Bedroom
At the top of the stairs, you enter the spacious galleried bedroom. The double-aspect room with original oak floorboards, benefits from a 6ft super king-sized bed that can be split into two single beds on request. There is also a dressing table and chair, fitted wardrobe and a flatscreen TV.
William Morris design fabrics used to dress the windows and the bed are another nod to the historic connection the cottage has with the Arts and Crafts Movement.
Shower Room
The en-suite shower room is modern and bright, with underfloor heating, a WC and a huge walk-in shower that comes with a large, fixed shower head attached to the ceiling, as well as a hand-held attachment on the wall. The bathroom retains some traditional-style features, such as, twin wash basins fitted onto a painted wooden washstand and a decorative metal shelving unit above the WC. The shower room also benefits from overhead lighting, twin mirrors, a shaving mirror and a double shaving point on the wall.
Number Five cottage can be accessed through the front door situated on Sheep Streep. There is a small courtyard at the rear of the property with outdoor seating for 2 which can be access through the backdoor, in the kitchen.
When entering the cottage for the first time, you will need to access the property through the back door. However, during your stay, we would encourage you to use the front door on Sheep Street. This is to avoid disturbing neighbours in their outside areas.
There is no designated off-road parking space, but parking is available on Sheep Street and on the High Street, which is just a 2 minute walk away. All parking spaces, except for the Market Square, are free of charge and have no time limits, unless otherwise stated.
