Vine Cottage is a beautiful, mid 17th Century grade 2 listed, Cotswold stone cottage with an abundance of original features such as exposed beams in the ceilings and walls.

Renovated to a luxury standard and combining period charm with contemporary modern living, this spacious home comfortably sleeps 8 guests in four bedrooms (2 en-suite), over three floors, all of which enjoy lovely village views. The cottage is equipped with CAT5 high speed broadband, smart TV’s, Amazon echo speaker downstairs and in bedrooms.

Located in the picturesque North Cotswold village of Paxford where there are many countryside walks. There is currently no pub in the village, but many villages only a short drive away, including Chipping Campden, Stretton-on-Fosse, Blockley and Mickleton, to name a few, boast many cafes, pubs and restaurants serving excellent food.

A five minute drive from the Medieval market town of Chipping Campden, with its historic High Street and honey coloured stone, you will find much to enjoy with many independent shops, delicatessens and various eateries.

Large and sunny, the enclosed garden is laid to lawn and gravel and is a fabulous space for outdoor dining, playing garden games or simply relaxing in the sunshine.

Pets are welcome to join you at Vine Cottage and to explore all the local walks that the area has to offer.

Living Room
A bright room with doors to the dining room, utility room, reading room, front door, w/c and stairs to bedrooms. Large L- shaped sofa and two comfy chairs. Open fire. 55” Smart TV and an Amazon echo speaker from which you can also control the lighting throughout the cottage.

Dining Room
A double aspect dining room with table and 8 chairs. Oak flooring. Two sideboards with lamps. Doors to the kitchen, living room and doors which open to the garden.

Reading Room
A relaxing space off the living room with two armchairs and a bookcase. Front door. W/C. Stairs to first floor bedrooms.

A bright, spacious modern kitchen with double Belfast sink, induction hob and built in oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. A table with 4 chairs. 43” Smart TV. Doors open to the garden. Aga for ornamental purposes only.

Utility Room
A large room for boots and coats with ample storage, washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. An ideal place for pets to sleep.

Bedroom 1
Master bedroom with king size bed can be split to make two 2’6” singles. Bedside tables, triple wardrobe, chest of drawers and exposed beams. 43” Smart TV and Alexa. En-suite shower room with toilet & sink.

Bedroom two
King size bed which can be split to make two 2’6” single beds. 2 x bedside tables, chest of drawers and a triple wardrobe. 43” Smart TV. Alexa. An en-suite with separate bath & shower (added December 23)

Bright tiled bathroom with separate shower and bath, sink with vanity unit, sensor mirror, towel radiator and toilet.

Twin room with 2 x 2’6” single beds. A 32” Smart TV and Alexa.

Access to the side of the property is through a five bar wooden gate. There is ample parking for 2 cars inside the gate and private parking for at least 2 cars outside the gate on the driveway. The sunny garden is mainly laid to lawn with a beautiful heather border. A large, circular outside table and chairs set, which is perfect for alfresco dining, and a retractable sun canopy for shade. There is also a swinging egg chair for simple relaxing.

Payment terms and conditions Notes:

3 nights are charged at 80% of the full weeks rental

4 nights are charged at 85% of the full weeks rental

5 nights are charged at 90% of the full weeks rental

6 nights are charged at 95% of the full weeks rental

30% deposit of rental rate for full weeks booked (40% Xmas / New Year).

Remaining balance due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday (12 weeks for lets over 3 weeks).

50% payment required for short breaks.

Refundable damages deposits are charged at some cottages.

Where there are open fires or log burners, a basket of logs is included in the price – more logs available for a reasonable charge.

Pets charge – £30.00 each.

Welcome hampers – we can put you in touch with local suppliers & ensure that hampers are in a cottage for your arrival!

Extras such as flowers and balloons can be arranged for special occasions or surprises.

We can put you in touch with a variety of businesses offering activities such as horse riding, wine tasting/vineyard tour, golf, historical tours, clay pigeon shooting, beauty therapy and much more.
